Language plays a very important part throughout our lives as we communicate with each other through different languages. There are more than 100 languages that are used in India. There are many more languages used abroad. There is a whole world outside and everyone uses different languages to communicate with one another.
Learning new languages is an advantage. We can communicate with people easily and there will be no awkward silence if two persons talking to each other know the same language. They can fluently talk to each other and understand feelings and emotions easily and properly.
In India, people speak many languages and it’s not obvious for us to know all the languages. People in small villages talk in their own language, in their mother tongue, or the language they have been taught for ages. They cannot cope with the people who live in cities because they are modern and well educated. There is always a communication gap between the rural and urban populations as they both have little or no knowledge about each other’s languages.
That is why languages play a very important role in our day to day lives. Learning new languages could definitely help us now or in the future. Therefore, we should always try learning new languages.
