Why Is The Second Wave of The Corona Virus Affecting All Ages Alike?

As we all know, Coronavirus is a terrible disease that has been spreading for more than a year in India, it’s past time for us to start taking precautions. This quick surge in cases, according to experts, indicates that the second wave is spreading considerably faster across the country.

Some of India’s prominent scientists have speculated that this is due to the opening of schools and colleges, or the new mutant strain of the virus, known as the double mutant variant. The new strain is more dangerous than the past one because it can evade the body’s immune system and is more contagious. The new virus isn’t just affecting the elderly; it’s affecting people of all ages.

The increase is being attributed to large religious meetings, the reopening of most public places, and crowded election rallies. Many Indian cities are experiencing the problem of a shortage of beds and oxygen cylinders. The number of new cases per day is far more than the number of patients who are recovering. However, this disease may avoid getting infected by following all the Covid rules provided by our local police and health officials.

It’s important to sanitize our hands, cloths, masks, and any other items we bring into our house from outside. We should avoid going outside unless it is necessary, and even then, we should wear a mask. If we’re looking after a covid patient, we should put on a two-layered mask. At this critical time, we must adhere to all COVID regulations and remain at home. So let’s maintain a positive attitude while caring for ourselves and our loved ones.
