Political circles were abuzz after Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray personally met PM Narendra Mod, after NCP Chief Sharad Pawar’s warm gesture towards former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. Well, too much thought went into reading the analysis regarding the prospects of a Shivsena-BJP tie up in Maharashtra.
If it were to at all happen, then it would be of benefit for the Sena and Uddhav’s chief ministership. The BJP could please itself by being Uddhav’s deputy, which may not be music to Fadnavis’s ears as for a Pawar who may try to checkmate Uddhav by hobnobbing with the BJP.
A few months ago, Pawar had also met Home Minister Amit Shah in Ahmedabad, taking a pot shot at Uddhav if he were to attempt any adventurism. It would be in the best of Maha Vikash Aghadi’s (MVA) interest to collectively work towards fulfilling people’s aspirations and objectives rather than settling personal scores by influencing the morale of party cadres and workers belonging to the Shivsena, NCP and Congress, the three core constituents of the MVA.
Keep aside your tussles and quarrels for the better of Marathi Manoos.
