On India’s 75th Independence Day, an LGBTQ+ digital advocacy platform Yes, We Exist ran a poll to understand how free and safe do LGBTQ+ Indians feel. Over 1700 participants from across the country answered a series of questions, listed in both Hindi and English. The predominant age group was between 18 to 24 years.
