Poem: Do You Remember That Girl?

Do you remember that girl,
Who wrote too much,
Who spoke too much,
Too fast that she couldn’t last.

Do you remember that rich girl,
Who used scars as manipulation,
Who got hot in all seasons,
Too fast that she couldn’t keep calm.

Representative Image.

Do you remember her?
She kept wandering, using humour as a defence mechanism.

Do you remember that wanderlust lusty girl?
From unsaid chaos to musings and books to elated word to this or that, making, faking and breaking various identities.

Well, she became a laughing stock.

She escaped to a forest.
She lived there like a saint curled up in clouds in the stream of her consciousness.
She wrote a poem called Semiconductor Subconscious and Privilege.

She is revisiting now with her pen and her sanity.
So let’s welcome her, shall we?

Well, honestly she could care less who is welcoming or not because she is here to stay and conquer.

– Priyanka Meena (a young girl who is drafting her life as she moves along the storms)
