I Achieved A Lifelong Goal Of Learning French Thanks To An Online Training

A long time ago, I read an article about how learning new languages strengthen the cognitive functions of the brain. It improves memory, problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities apart from the most obvious benefit of being able to communicate and connect with more people.

I first came across French when my sister was studying it as part of the school curriculum. Undeux, trois, quatre… I listened to her as she recited les nombres. I was fascinated by the smooth pronunciations and immediately fell in love with it. Not having enough time at hand at that time, I was determined to learn the language in the future.

Recently when I took a break from work to prepare for higher education entrance tests, I decided to look for French courses to fulfil my long interest. After a lot of research, I found the French Language training on Internshala. The curriculum covered a wide range of topics and was affordable too. I was hooked and immediately jumped at this opportunity.

The training is very well designed with superb examples, scenarios and ample exercises. The platform is flawless with easy navigation across the modules and a convenient way of clarifying any doubts. To be precise, the course structure is impeccable; the grouping of concepts under relevant real-life situation topics is excellent.

My favourite module was “Going Out”; it consisted of learning about travelling, eating at a restaurant and shopping in France. I enjoyed learning food vocabulary the most. Apart from this, the training provides enough opportunity to retain knowledge through various quizzes in the form of speaking, writing, reading and listening skills.

The module tests are comprehensive and served as continuous revisions. The instructor is fabulous, well-versed with the French and the cultural tidbits that she shared was something I loved. French people’s love for food and wine made me admire the language and its culture even more.

During the training, I decided to get the DELF/DALF certification, and after some research, I found that the module tests were very close to this exam’s format. I have been able to keep up the practice even after the completion of the course. I can read short stories and listen to French sentences with much ease now.

I am sure that with such a strong foundation, I will be able to pass the certification with flying colours.

I am delighted to have started off the journey of this beautiful language on the right foot. In the end, I have only one thing to say to Internshala Trainings, “Merci beaucoup!”
