Neeraj Chopra is worthy of praise for all his prolific presentation and prowess ensuring India’s first gold medal at Tokyo Olympics. Faced with world-class competitors, it wasn’t an easy affair for Chopra to outperform his opponents who with his dedication and devotion to javelin throw outperformed his opponents with his class and composure.
Who knows if athletes around him struggle to break his world record of 87.58 metres which may be hard for them to reach and target. Abhinav Bindra’s success in shooting at the 2008 Beijing Olympics was similarly received and rewarded for his hand at gold establishing his credentials as a reputed and renowned shooter of all times. Chopra has followed his footsteps brightening his fate on a day when a gold looked distant for sports enthusiasts like us. I am certain this boy has got much more in store arousing our passion and patriotism.
