“Our flag is our identity. I’m raising the voice of million women. A woman can be brave the same like a man. Every Talib was saying that for only 20 days you guys are free. So I just wanted to use this 20 days and raise my voice. If they shoot me, till the time they shoot, but I’m not scared of this. I will strive and seek my goals. I will not let them deprive me from my fundamental rights,” Crystal Bayat in The New York Times.
Crystal Bayat was one of seven women at a protest she helped organize on Independence Day in Afghanistan. Days after the Taliban took over, raising the Afghan flag became an act of resistance. “I am raising the voice of a million women,” she said. https://t.co/riqSV9xF6j pic.twitter.com/XxLDuDSIKN

In any nation, the government is made for the betterment of citizens and development of the nation. In Afghanistan, recently the regime changed and Taliban fighters took over the government fairly easily, without great resistance from the Ghani government and citizens.
Citizens are under fear. Denial of women rights and women respect in a nation means dawn of a draconian and barbarian government by inhumane persons. One should never forget that afraid citizens have poor confidence and this fear make that nation weak. Citizens are backbone of a nation and also the primary line of defence inside a nation; this primary line of defence should be strong enough to defeat the opponents.
According to different sources, Taliban fighters number just between 100,000-200,000. Citizens of Afghanistan are much in number than Taliban fighters. India won freedom from Britishers because of their citizens, freedom fighters and great leaders, when they fought united against Britishers. Unity is must to win against draconian and barbarous rule.
Afghanistan is rich in minerals but despite having $1 trillion or more in mineral deposits, it remains one of the world’s least developed countries. Afghanistan doesn’t need factions’ rule but needs democracy to survive as a successful and progressive nation.
Afghanistan should end contemporary conflict and political instability. If people of Afghanistan do not unite for a democratic nation, then their future generations will never forgive them for not transferring a better future. Only democracy can guarantee for human rights and development for all, beyond sex, religions, language, creed or faction.
