Since the beginning of the journey in 2018, Mousumi Kundu, founder and editor-in-chief of Monomousumi Services, had only one aim – to create a space where writers felt safe to express their thoughts, a space that reaches a broader audience; and a space where creative minds could spread their wings. And so, the monthly Weaver Magazine came into being, with Monomousumi Services’ catchphrase ‘when mind dominates’ taking the center stage in the philosophy of Weaver Magazine’s foundation as well.
From its inception, Monomousumi Services has been running various free writing competitions, with the likes of the International Monthly Essay Contest that was recognised as the longest-running international essay writing contest under the India Book of Records 2022. Handpicking a few articles from the participants, the Weaver Magazine is ladened with creative ideas and other informative and indulging reads such as poems and fun quizzes, art, short story, interviews and just about everything a magazine could hold.
If feeling the texture of the paper on your hand is your thing, Monomousumi Services is committed to delivering the magazine to your doorstep. Its e-version is available for reading on the small space of your screens.
With a dedicated team of editors, Weaver Magazine brings to its readers engaging reads every month. Taking it a step forward, Weaver Magazine is focused on having a space for every age group. Under the headlines of career, tradition, fashion icons, social worker, inspiration, book review, interview, environmental issue, introspect, business, health and fitness, viewpoint, technology and more, there is something for everyone.
Weaver Magazine goes beyond absorbing words. It is a thought-provoking read, with something new for its readers and a sea of opportunities to its contributors. A transparent platform in its selection criteria, the Weaver Magazine offers budding writers a chance to find their names printed on the glossy pages of their magazine.
As for corporate houses, Weaver Magazine has opened doors of opportunities, too. Through success stories and interviews, the magazine allows businesses to reach a wider audience, put out their objectives and showcase what their brand stands for, including sponsoring a contest for a social cause.
With the founder and editor-in-chief, Mousumi Kundu’s own ideology, through Weaver Magazine, she along with her dedicated team of Monomousumi Services and enthusiastic writers, aims to “make the world a better place to stay by sharing ‘words’”.
