Are Communal Violence And Mob Justice Normal In Modi’s ‘New India’?

More than a year ago, on the 23rd of May, 2020, a Shramik Special train reached Odisha’s Rourkela from Mumbai instead of Gorakhpur. Post ‘Independence Day’, a bangle seller belonging to Hardoi in UP reached MP’s Indore and the synopsis and details are now obviously open to all and sundry.

There is no pattern that an unthinkable atrocity beyond thought could happen with the common people. His agonies are identical to the labourers during the lockdown. They had arrived in a new state while the bangle seller faces unbearable trauma.

If he, as was told, possessed the basic identity of  Aadhaar Card, he happened to be a bonafide citizen but he was beaten as if he was an offender. If the locals stated there was nothing wrong done by him, why was he thrashed?  He posed as a street bangle seller but the way he was beaten up led to even the police officer’s heart being melted to file the first information report against the wrongdoers?

He only came to sell his whatever stock of bangles just for livelihood but has finally recognised his new status in typical guy style revealing through a heart-wrenching video shoot. However, was he as such?

Making the law-abiding citizens across the length and breadth of the country think over the poor young male bangle seller, even the humanity weeps blood in anguish. He was presented in a very different scene bringing internet-breaking acknowledgements.

The merciless moments continued their velocity, prompting even plain small-town people to consider him as just a bangle seller. Was it instilling any guilty thinking?

Do not come again!” a savage howl was raised into the atmosphere and scores of hands started thrashing him with their forceful fists. But honestly, the enraged gentry’s gratitude would go in the reverse direction, which pervades with the incorrect impression: Bang, bang for no clear omissions?

We certainly do not know him but every Gandhian will come up to condemn the inhuman, unjust and base act just around “Azadi Ka Mahotsav”.

Of course, this will not be browsed as a proper paragraph in the media reporting quite literally, all over the earthly existence.
