How Can We Know That Our Mental Health Is Not Okay?

  1. We think our neighbours are superior to us just to avoid talking to them.
  2. If we think we are inferior because of our monetary wealth.
  3. We don’t focus on what we can do, we only focus on our failures.
  4. We don’t like to talk to anyone — family members, neighbours, friends or your partner.
  5.  We think that we are useless because we have no job.
  6. We don’t like to go outside or out of our own world.
  7. We think about the worst past phase of our life repeatedly.

There are many other symptoms that indicate our unhealthy mental state, but these symptoms are the most popular and identifiable.

What Is The Reason Behind This?

We are living in a competitive society where people are not tagged by their character but also by their profession. Our character goes beyond our professional life. We need to understand the difference between real achievement and real success. We can be happy in each moment of our life without any reason, but nowadays, people are not really happy. They earn a handsome amount but they don’t live a happy and satisfying life. To be happy, we need only our mental peace, and nothing else. But people think they need a lot of money and property to build their existence and social status to be happy. What the bullshit is this?

If you think you will be happy when you will have a lot of money, you are wrong. Happiness is far away from monetary things. Our mental health is not normal anymore. The first thing to remember is that we are not in competition with anyone. We are here to live our lives in the right way. What we can do for this world is the only thing that matters. In every phase of your life, your happiness will come from you only. The competition to survive in this world has pit people against one another and made them each other’s enemies.

How can we get rid of depression and improve our mental health to use our potential energy and achieve our real goal, which is beyond any person or this society?

  1. Take a break from everything and do things for your pleasure, something you like to do for yourself. You make efforts to make others happy, but during this break, you must make yourself happy.
  2. Remember that one movie or web series that you skipped for a silly person? Go watch it.
  3. Spend time with your closest friends and family members.
  4. If you are an extrovert, try being an introvert for the next few days, and if you are an introvert, try being an extrovert.
  5. Take baths twice a day to refresh yourself more. Start going out for a walk or a run in the morning and evening.
  6. Remove all toxic people from your life.
  7. Get away from negative people.
  8. Be around positive people and your true well-wishers.
  9. Try to build new good habits.
  10. Write your thoughts and problems in a diary or on a page and then dump them. It will help definitely.
