BJP MLA Forced To Walk In Mud After Neglecting Condition Of Roads

walking in mud

When the glasses are out of the spot, everything remains out of sight. It seems we are living life only half-seeing and taking wrong turns down the roads. Neither the street sign nor a pole appears owing to the vision defect. Laser surgery corrects this deformity.

However, our elected leaders do not care to see the problems persisting in their constituencies with wide-open eyes. Yet the people do not sit idle, they apply the laser surgery method to apprise them of factual situations. Though the leaders remain manageable on carrying the rankle of “not a perfect candidate”, the public applies operation tactics. This is affirmed with two different instances.

Angry villagers in Bundelkhand compelled a BJP MLA to get off his vehicle and walk through the mud with them to show him what they go through every day.

BJP MLA Rajesh Prajapati, of Chandala constituency in Chhatarpur district, ran into a group of furious villagers while he was on his way to a programme to plant saplings. Villagers of Tikri, some 315 km from Bhopal, stopped his vehicle and had him walk around the village to “have first-hand experience” of their daily ordeal.

It was strange that the MLA has been waiting for them to tell that the 3-km road was imperfect. He decided there that he would no longer let the villagers live a life confronting what society did not want them to stand.

Similarly, the Uttar Pradesh minister of state for jail shakti has to face the ire of annoyed people belonging to his constituency. They not only made him experience a mud walk but also raised a demand for road repairing. The area people apprised him of their constant request for repairs from Nagarpalika, but nothing was done so far.

As the minister was on his way to open an oxygen refilling plant at a CHC in Bilaspur district, the road was covered with soil. However, it was fully altered in a muddy way.
