Why Do Illegal Construction Projects Like Supertech Emerald Keep Occurring?

I believe modern-day condominiums carrying all the basic civic amenities promising class, comfort and design, literally fall on promising safety, security and protection as for a cheesy comfort, class and design.

I believe specifications and guidelines should be formulated and implemented by the Minister of Urban Housing Development in close cooperation, coordination and collaboration with the National Building Construction Company and Building Construction Research Institute under the watch of experts strictly adhered to by the builders alike.

Recently, the Supreme Court instructed Supertech Emerald in its order to demolish twin 40 storey towers in Noida’s Sector 20 for flouting the rules and regulations in connivance with senior officials of Noida Development Authority returning the buyer’s their amount with interest.

In the first place, we have to understand why this situation arose and why common and ordinary people felt its heat? It’s simply for two reasons, the builder was in a rush to have towers solely for inspiring buyer confidence with an aim to commercially benefit out of it leaving aside buyer’s conviction and confidence.

A few years ago Jaypee Group a real estate magnate too came under the spotlight for delaying the possession of apartments to its owners citing lack of availability of logistical tools and equipment, severely affecting the completion of its pet projects, later being attended by NBCC.

May we ask why such occasions are frequently rearing its head? Architects and builders are to be equally blamed for this rot as for limited planning, manpower and management in the absence of a blueprint neglected and renegotiated for quick gains.

It’s always us listlessly feeling the heat. What else can assure our reconciliation?
