Lakhimpur Kheri Is Proof Yogi Will Stop At Nothing To Win Elections

Yogi Adityanath

The Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath is blatantly engaging and involving itself in all kinds of harakiri for assembly elections next year.

Assessing and evaluating the fairness of their skills and strength in persuading and mobilizing the public opinion from running a myth to narrating a fiction, they have tried their hands at everything but for the shortfalls and short-sightedness.

Farmer’s agitation being the bush in their thorns has literally fanned a kind of anxiety and despair which may not hold ground for Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) under a Yogi, adamant for a come back which looks slightly discomforting for the party leadership in New Delhi closely monitoring the situation from behind the scenes.

Who will bear the moral and ethical responsibility for the mowing of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri by the car of Minister of State for Home Affairs apart from calling for an inquiry and investigation into the case? Violence and vandalism was reported from both sides but for the ineptness of Uttar Pradesh’s police force which has come under the spot for not acting at the adequate time.

Were they under pressure from the higher-ups preventing them from discharging their constitutional role and responsibility? Let an SIT be constituted under the chairmanship of retired Supreme Court judge as one has lost faith in state’s judicial system for its politicisation and patronization.

Whom do we look for as everybody looks least interested when ever for preserving the sanctity and dignity of the average irrespective of where they stand out respectively.

“Yogi Ji aap sun rahe hain?” (Mr. Yogi, are you listening?)
