Mostly, womxn do not have washroom facilities in public spaces. I am a womxn who wants to travel more and more, but I do not see a washroom.
We see washrooms only at railway stations, bus stops, petrol pumps, movie hall and shopping malls. We cannot find a washroom at other places. We want to travel more, and we want more washroom facilities! I saw most of the womxn not drinking water because they want to pee.
Peeing is important, after all, we are humans.
If we do not drink water, we get dehydrated. And dehydration can cause us headache, lethargy and constipation. The human body is roughly 75% water. Without this water, it cannot survive.
Holding urine for an extremely long period of time can also cause urinary tract infections due to bacterial build-up. In addition, it can increase your risk of kidney diseases in rare cases, even risk bladder busting and conditions that can be deadly. In deadly conditions, we should use washrooms to prevent the deadly condition. Drink lots and lots of water when you travel. For that, we need washrooms while travelling.
We have a device called stand-and-pee, it will help womxn to maintain no contact with a public toilet seat. It is not a shameful thing to use such types of devices. I am also using it because using this product, will save you from getting urinary tract infections. I face so much difficulty whenever I travel. People simply suggest us not to travel if they we face difficulties, but I say travel more. You will get to know your rights.
Because of unavailability of washrooms, womxn tend to travel less and drink less water while travelling. I went to Bhongiri Fort yesterday and I faced a similar issue near the Fort. The washrooms there were so terrible that I was not able to step inside the washroom. I was not able to find a single washroom for peeing in the whole complex.
In metros as well, we face similar difficulties. I want to conclude by saying that one must have their freedom so that they get to know what their rights are and change the thing that is not according to your rights. If we come out, we solve most of the problems. If you do not coming out of the shell, you will not get a chance to enjoy our share.
