Tanish Agarwal, young entrepreneur started at the age of 16

At 17, Tanish Agarwal is already owning two startups. Age is genuinely no bar for Tanish, who has set out to break stereotypes and carve out a unique niche for himself. In this digital world, what you need is courage and determination to carry your ideas.

Coming from the Tea City of India(Ledo, Assam), Tanish Agarwal always had this urge to do something of his own. At 17, he started his first venture, JP DESIGNS & PRINTS, revolutionising the print on demand industry, offering customised t-shirts, mugs, and other personalised items. He says, ‘managing my startup and online classes was a bit challenging, but my zeal to do something big in life and continuous efforts helped me to be where I am today. His entrepreneurial journey is full of peaks and valleys. Tanish says, ‘starting at 17, I faced many age-related pitfalls as customers and investors doubted the sustainability and credibility of my business.’

But Tanish did not let ageism get to him. He overcame these challenges by surrounding himself with people who believed in him. He kept his patience high and attitude upbeat. Lately, he has started a new venture WEBIZILL, making a dent in the digital marketing industry, providing IT, Graphic Designing, and Marketing services.

Tanish’s exemplary genius and progressive entrepreneurial vision have led him to be acknowledged by numerous prestigious organisations. Tanish Agarwal is one of the youngest entrepreneurs to receive the “Global Growth Accelerator Award” in April 2021 and “Bharatiya Youth Face Of India 2021” in September 2021.

He takes immense pride in the firms that he has set up, which are authentically customer-friendly. He believes his most outstanding achievements are yet to come, and he is working in the right direction.

Tanish’s journey is one that very much emulates the routine aspirations of the youth. Indeed, his entrepreneurship and his zeal to convert his passions to something more concrete prodded him on the path of emerging as an enterprising soul.

His message to other budding entrepreneurs is, “never compare the age with the things one should do at a particular age. Encourage a person by seeing his/her abilities and skills. Make use of each and every moment you live.”
