Disruption And Suspension: The Govt Won’t Take Back The Farm Laws Easily

I believe the Centre owes us an explanation of why the suspension of members responsible for disruption in the Parliament is justified if the maintenance of the sanctity of rules and privileges guides the conduct of legislators inside the House? Repealing of laws is one thing but calling for a dialogue and deliberation is another; and the government, in no way, can shy away from this responsibility.

It is accountable for all its legislative exercise and adventurism in the face of a matchless majority. Ideally, it would have been better had these legislators been presented with an opportunity to press their case rather than being tagged as offenders with the establishment in complete denial over the issue for which the law is necessitated. Bulldozing the three bills won’t be enough as the difference of opinion, views and ideas act as a highlight informing and awarding people’s psyche potentially impacting and influencing their livelihood.

Thus, it is obligatory for the powers to assess and evaluate the outcome of its goals instead of cherishing a pretence that would politically be incorrect, given the arousing discontent against their rhetoric separating the sense of being and belongingness of oneself from the other. How would a new India look in the future? Well, it’s up for investigation and introspection, if not more.
