Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot knows why it is important for the Congress to announce its comeback if for arranging and configuring arithmetic of caste and community alliance crucial for clinching the 2023 assembly elections. Knowing why it would be challenging for the BJP to fully showcase its strength and strategy with factionalism and infightings decimating its prospects and possibilities.
Maybe, a maharani like Vasundhara Raje Scindia was too elite and elitist for a right conservative BJP if for a grassroot leader reviving and resurrecting the party from below with its dedicated ranks and cadres but for their appeal and acceptance amongst the masses elaborated by the careful display and depiction of signs, symbols and sentiments always finding an attraction amongst electorate preserving their ritualistic codes and customs in the social and cultural hierarchy of the state.

Thus, keeping the Sachin Pilot camp in good humour is his compulsion rewarding suitable posts and titles within and outside the Congress party and government. Surely, Gehlot would want to score pointers over Pilot burying the hatchet awkwardly arising if it doesn’t get consciously concluded as politics is all about who gets what, when, where and how.
For Sachin Pilot to become Rajasthan Chief Minister all will depend on how he skillfully attends and acknowledges the glaring gaps and shortcomings responsible for the slide of his party widening the rift which may take a little to heal and hail. Depending on if Gehlot’s lieutenant would be able to win back the support of the high command or will end up pressing for sweeping measures shoring up the party keeping in agenda his motives, agendas and aspirations.
