you see yourself in mirrors
those broken mirrors
that shed blood
with such sweet eyes
that you can’t rid of
you see yourself in tired faces
tired faces just like you and me
stuck in these broken mirrors
shedding blood on the floor
you see yourself in ruptured futures
futures than you can’t stop dreaming about
those which might never come true
you shake and swell your eyes
and wet your clothes with bloody tears
you see yourself in confined walls
walls that keep coming towards you
walls which you can’t escape
ever again
you see yourself in death beds
in caskets in search of light
but the light may never come
you see yourself in mirrors that break in front of you
every second and every day
