Everything in this universe has a direction, provided it has been defined ‘uniformly’. A direction to go, to see, to talk, to toil, to aim, to achieve is very important in our lives. Life is not a wandering wayfarer but a restless walker destined for sustainability.
Ours is a time of speedy transactions- for money and materials or that of minds, undoubtedly because of an advanced cultivation of science and technology. I must say science is showing us the right direction most of the the time. It refers to the fact that seeing is not always believing, justification through examination and peer review is cultured into the process of scientific research.
Nurturing rationality and enriching our mentality with a composed scientific temperament throughout the society can be a substantial way of achieving sustainable development goals. Composing scientific temperament encourages people to uphold humanity all over society, empowers women and mitigates child labour. It strengthens our beliefs and hopes over the unity of our nation and makes our governance easy to perform as per the constitution.
Thus, we need to articulate facts and figures before washing our minds with some temporary selfish decision to ruin our resources, polluting our environment. It’s important to have the utmost responsibility to protect and preserve nature and thus changing our mentality is essential.
We all know that mutability is not an overnight job. It takes a deep practice of our minds and brains but it’s our duty to be the inceptional change that will set an example for others to work for a clean and safe environment.
