In Priyanka, Congress Is Searching Their Resurgent In Uttar Pradesh

Party’s senior leaders like Kamal Nath have recently acknowledged that the Congress Party’s vote share in Uttar Pradesh that once revolved around 48%, lingers too low if present accounts are taken into considertaion. However, Nath seemed affirmative when he stated that Priyanka Gandhi has refreshed the party’s lost prestige to a greater degree. This has further prompted Uttar Pradesh Congress Chief to declare that his party is supposed to gain enough in the forthcoming assembly polls in the state.

As according to him, women of all groups are turning towards the Congress party owing to Priyanka Gandhi’s exercise. Interestingly, the female voters make around a good 50% in Uttar Pradesh and the party under Gandhi’s leadership is now seeking their support.

This year’s UP assembly elections are going to be different for one or more reasons. It is yet to be seen whether the grand old party gains amid Priyanka’s continuous endeavours. Noteworthy, her efforts have opened the party’s door for women to not only join politics but also contest the polls in the state.

Undoubtedly, Priyanka Gandhi has more or less stimulated a new strength into the Congress party with her unique slogan, Ladki Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon,” just goads the politically able women to enrol on politics. “So long as their access to the political domain will not expand, their suppressed voice will not echo on a massive scale,” assert analysts adding that Congress extends a viable platform to them.

Priyanka Gandhi’s call to the women to come under the political umbrella in theory would enable them to break off their routine recognition. If she urges them to heed her, they will prefer to move on to the political plane where their participation does not stand to be amply reflected. It is expected that they would aim without spoiling their utmost ability to give a full fight. Gandhi has also declared of distributing 40% of tickets to women in the forthcoming assembly elections. She follows the political image of her well-known grandmother- Sonia Gandhi; however, she does not entirely ignore to pursue the present-day lady politicians like Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand and Angela Merkel of Germany.
