Why are governments reluctant to point out the specificity of the Omicron variant’s spread rather than single-handedly imposing night curfews and lockdowns, if for any better?
Despite the best of resources and facilities, cosmopolitans like Delhi and Mumbai are falling prey with the numbers swelling high as for the fragility of common and ordinary reacting and responding to the restrictions.
In this regard, the population should be better guided and guarded with information and awareness against Omicron, which although is mild, is more contagious in comparison to previous strains leading to hospitalization.
Still, for those with comorbidities, this could mean anything from a complication to casualty. As for the scientific community and experts, erasing our queries and doubts by not referring to it as less severe when at the first instance it infects everyone equally.
