‘3 Idiots’ Is As Inspiring Today As It Was In 2009

3 idiots

There have been many fascinating, romantic and inspiring movies that I got a chance to watch in recent times. It is pretty hard to say which is the best movie that I loved the most. It is a decade-old movie, but the movie has not lost its presence among today’s generation that covered every important aspect of their life. The fun-entertaining movie that I watched with my family in the theatre was 3 Idiots.

Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in 3 Idiots.

It was an all-time blockbuster movie. I cannot forget the hilarious moment when we all fell off our chairs while watching the funniest scenes of the movie like Chatur’s speech.

The movie features Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor in leading roles, released on 25 December, 2009. I learned many things from this film. I narrate my own life to this film story because each unique movie character has inspired me and others. Every student can take this film as an inspiration to their life.

The movie was beautifully directed, written and crafted for big-screen lovers by Raj Kumar Hirani.

In one particular scene where R Madhavan (Farhan Qureshi) and Sharman Joshi (Raju Rastogi) got admitted to the prestigious Imperial Engineering College (ICE) in Delhi, I take this as my personal experience when I got admission to an engineering college due to family pressure.

After studying 4 years of engineering, I gathered the courage to take this call to pursue something very fascinating and creative field like content writing. Commonly speaking, this happens when any teenager has just begun to explore new things in his life; elders around them interfere and advise them to pick up a competitive profession.

The movie’s message is timeless.

On the other side, the film’s story shatters light on the monotonous and traditional way of teaching that has been followed by Indian educational institutions. The film also uncovers the truth about the parents dominating behaviour towards their kids. They have already decided on their future before their birth.

Imagine the level of pressure the child goes through during his growing years when this kind of higher expectation is put by his parents.

What motivates me to chase my dreams is the character of Aamir Khan (Rancho), a born genius and academically bright student who has got a good knack for removing and fixing mechanical parts. Through his extraordinary acting and charming looks, Aamir Khan impressed a wider audience in India and abroad. In the end, when he becomes a famous scientist, two of his best college friends and his lover meet him.

It is amongst the highest-earning Bollywood films that have done ₹400 crores of business worldwide. I believe that in this fast-moving and money-making world, we have got so used to technology that we developed this feeling that art or culture has little importance.

Moreover, the environment and society in which a child grows matters when it comes to carrying out better intellectual power and decision-making potential.
