‘The Machine That’s Making Headlines And Is Obsessed With Muslims’

A bulldozer razing a house to the ground.

Nowadays, each one of us is baffled by a machine that seems to have woken up from its dreams and is continuing to make headlines everyday. Its printed in bold letters in the newspaper, with anchors celebrating its efficiency to render justice.

This machine is proving to be very useful for the government and courts. Now, the government doesn’t have to falsely implicate someone through FIRs and wait for the judgement, to make them pay. And, the courts don’t have to entertain every case, especially those of minorities.

The machine also has its own favourite: the majority. It is also obsessed with the Muslim community. It’s available on one call. Its large tires carry it to the victim’s house in all it ruthlessness, with scores of policemen surrounding the house, ready to snatch a life.

I often wonder, among the policemen and the person driving the machine, why does no-one actually stop and realise what they are actually doing? How does their heart allow them to go on with it? People tell me they are just acting on their sense of duty.

I want to ask: where does this “sense of duty” goes when we are being killed? When rapes happen? I’m sure if the police acts with such diligence and dedication, there will be no crime and we all can live happily ever after.

Many of them don’t have a home themselves. How does their conscience allow them to destroy someone else’s home? Anyone who has built a home, or is trying to build one, knows what all goes in it… Years of hard work, savings and sacrifice!

And, what matters more is that people live in there… People with emotions; people with dreams. The majority should realise it by now that we don’t strive for worldly things. And, whatever hate that they are spewing is only making us stronger, if anything. We have already won the battle!

But, think about yourself! Where will this hate take you? The machine is popularly known as JCB, but to me, it is that something that has destroyed people, homes and most of all, dreams. It has destroyed dreams. How cruel is that!
