Dare and Lovely is a first Urdu-Hindi comedy drama film produced under Pakistani and Indian film industry. Audiences of both countries are so excited for this because it can help to solve issues between Pakistan and India.
Film is directed by an Indian actor, singer, film director and producer, Gippy Grewal (Rupinder Singh Gippy Grewal). He works span over Punjabi and Hindi film industry. His single “Phulkari” was very successful in the Punjabi music industry. He made his acting debut in the 2010 movie, Mel Karade Rabba, and which he followed with Carry On Jatta, Lucky Di Unlucky Story, Bhaji in Problem and Jatt James Bond. He received the “PTC Best Actor Award” in 2011 for his performance in the 2011 film Jihne Mera Dil Luteya. He received the “PIFAA Best Actor Award” in 2012 along with Diljit Dosanjh and received “PTC Best Actor Award” in 2015. He is owner of production houses Humble Motion Pictures and Big Daddy Films along with his brother Sippy Grewal.
Movie was started under a Pakistani actor, producer and writer, Qaisar Bukhsh. Qaisar started his career in the Pakistani film industry. He joined Tollywood and worked in it, he has been joining Bollywood from 2021. He is mostly known as the producer of Heropanti 2.
Qaisar started the film by writing his story with an Indian actress Taapsee Pannu. Taapsee works primarily in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil language films. She is the recipient of two Filmfare Awards. After a brief modelling career, Pannu made her acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam and went on to act in the 2011 Tamil film Aadukalam.
An Indian singer and actor, Jassi Gill performs a Joker role in the film. He is associated with Punjabi and Hindi language music and films. He debuted in Punjabi cinema with the 2014 film Mr & Mrs 420. Along with Jassi, Aditya Seal also worked in film cast. Aditya is an Indian actor, majorly known for his portrayal as a male lead actor in the film Tum Bin II. He made his film debut with Ek Chhotisi Love Story.
The principal photography began in 2020 under The Fire Emoji Studios.
Then why was it not released?
First the film was announced to be released in December 2020, but due to the COVID-19, it has been postponed to June 11, 2022. It again stopped because of some Internal issues between both countries, Pakistan and India. They has promised on their official Instagram profile to the public that they will announce the release date soon.
