With both Biden and Trump sailing and sealing victory in their respective party primaries- Democrats and Republicans field has become wide open for them to stake claim. Trouncing his nearest rival Niki Haley in the race to win primary for Republicans it’s Trump who has gained curreny building his constituency amongst the conservative sections of United States. Pressing the panic trigger he expects common and ordinary Americans to stand for the flag and faith punishing the liberal leftists for degrading their customs, codes and community ties over the past few years giving a select few an upper hand. Receiving accolades and ovations for his punchy and catchy phrases his command over his rhetoric and role pays actually has established Trump’s credentials as a populist icon and poster boy of US polity making every move to safeguard the honour and pride of their motherland. Biden has been a decorated disciplinarian with his action and approach over key agenda and issues as for his stance on Israel and Palestine putting him on a sticky wicket and a clear disappointment for progressive liberals and individuals who have every agency to be cynical and critical of Biden encouraging the grave situation in Gaza and surrounding areas. Many of those hard core Democrats seem to have cut a sorry figure with a series of misadventurism by Biden from arms supply to Ukraine to almost handing a free pass to Israel in Gaza has placed him in a tight situation the more he is trying to calm down the more he is being hit by storms. Momentum can only shift his side if Biden adapts to the changing dynamics of global politics with a nativist right becoming pivotal in the arena of global politics. Biden should make no mistake in revisiting some of his old policy reform measures like Row vs Wade in the abortion case, cracking the whip on Hamas is haunting scope for Biden,s second term with a chunk of Democratic voters shifting their allegiance and loyalty, its Biden who has a task cut to size. US Presidential election will prove to be very defining, inspiring and delighting come November as whosoever wins office will have to tide over and forge alliances for co operation and collaboration with strategic allies for mutual co existence and harmony. In the backdrop of a resurgent Russia and a combat ready China a lot will depend on how US under a Democrat or a Republican office will tackle and deal with the challenges of the churning that looks very much on the cards with bickerings, feuds and frictions marring prospects and possibilities of establishing a stable world order and not a one where one gets the license to hegemonise and dominate acting as aggressor. Will have to figure out what kind of role the US might plot for itself with the heat of elections taking a toll on its domestic considerations as so far there is hardly any consensus on it with both Democrats and Republicans refusing to read the writing on the wall with ordinary Americans getting impatient, annoyed and intrigued with the nature and character of its politics having no answers to the real question on means of survival and sustenance only pushing them further to a brink. Nobody would like to debate it though knowing of its implications at best offering a lip service holding to their forte without the fear of having to loose anything yet to make a transition democracy in US is all about getting to the other side of the fence quickly adding a few coats and layers for refinement as is the present case scenario with none leaving it to their faith.
