Over the past few days national capital has been privy to spontaneous thunderstorms and light showers in some pockets due to western disturbance as for global warming and global boiling that has been majorly responsible for shifts in weather patterns. Whole of United Arab Emirates and especially Dubai was on high alert as for torrential rains wrecking a complete havoc by submerging the city for a catastrophe that has the potential to bring everything to a stand still. Unbridled consumerism and exploitation of available natural resources is a major culprit in today’s scheme of modernization manifesting in forms which are intrinsically proving to be lethal and deadlier as for our innate drive aimed at unmindful expansion and extension which definitely has a cost and we all will be equally forced to pay a price for it. Deforestation is a major source with soils loosing it’s top cover and lack of plantation drive on major cities and over reliance on personal vehicles is a tragedy of sorts with many and most of us breathing and feeding toxicity in our lungs. It should be our collective duty to come forward and join hands for a better tomorrow promoting everyone’s betterment and goodwill.
