The Coronavirus Demon!

Sreeramulu, have you seen the news? The cases are rapidly increasing and people are not following the preventive measures.

We need the Coronademon back!

I am the coronavirus and I can infect any person. From the youngest to the oldest, rich or poor, I do not care. I can infect anyone. It does not matter if they have money or not. Do not think that I cannot infect you. If I transmit it to you, if I infect you, if the virus goes inside your body, you could die.

Unless, you follow the recommended preventive measures. You will be infected if you do not follow all the precautions. If you wash your hands, and if you wear the mask, I will not infect you.

Every day on the television and in the newspapers, different news explain the need of wearing a mask as also using the sanitiser and washing hands with soap. But, still, no one wears the mask and everyone keeps behaving recklessly. In this context, after receiving some videos on WhatsApp and seeing the situation we were living in, I met with Mallikarjuna, the Regional Director, and I told him, we will do this:

We will go to the villages with some speakers, with a microphone, and I will dress as a Corona Demon. When people look at me they understand how terrible this virus is. And when I walk
on the streets, the children start to run and I tell them, “If you do not wear the mask, I will infect you”.

Then, they go inside the house and put the mask on. Representing the coronavirus with the idea of a demon prompts people to take precautions, like wearing a mask, keeping social distance, and using sanitizer. Today I felt very satisfied when everyone was wearing the mask. Every day I go to work by bike, and I tell people to wear the mask, but no one listens to me. I come and go from work, and no one wears it.

But today, everyone thought, “The coronavirus is here” and they all put the mask on.  I am very happy because we have achieved a real change among the people.
