Why YKA Is Bringing Back Its Writer’s Training Program In A BIG Way

Over the last 13 years, YKA has seen lakhs of students from across the country use the platform to create impact and effect change. And it’s time to do that again.

To speak up, and learn in the process. Youth Ki Awaaz is back with its award-winning writers training program that has trained over 3000 young people in critical skills of writing, research, interview and effective communication – all of it, geared towards issues and topics that you are passionate about. Work on writing 5 to 15 impactful stories, receive intensive feedback to help you grow, choose between a 4 or 8-week program and get a letter of recommendation on successful completion.

Young people are going through a silent epidemic. Mental health is deteriorating. Discrimination based on gender and sexuality is still a lived reality. Representation in colleges is abysmal for Dalit-Adivasi-Bahujan students. India is breaking its own record high numbers of producing unemployable graduates. To top that, there’s a severe lack of guidance if you want to start out on your own.

We can change that, if with the right skills, we speak up and help reach more people.

The last date to apply for the Writer’s Training Program is the 22nd August, 2021 – so apply now!
