Delhi Technological University, formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering is a state university in Rohini, Delhi, India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic.
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology was established in 1985 with the objective to provide outstanding engineering education directed at enriching the quality of life in an emerging knowledge-based society.
It is one of the 23 IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), established by an Act of Parliament in 1985, has continuously striven to build an inclusive knowledge.
JEE Main is widely accepted by most of the engineering universities/ colleges in Delhi. If the candidates are willing to secure admission through JAC (Joint Admission Counselling), JEE Main score is mandatory for admission.
