Banaras Hindu University is ranked as the 5th best university by NIRF (national institutional ranking framework) in 2023 while Delhi University is ranked 11th.
BHU campus is one of the greenest campuses giving glimpse of heaven sometimes. On the other hand, most of the DU colleges are not bigger than a standard school.
Quality of teaching is more or less same.However, big names of DU like St. Stephens, LSR ,SRCC are ahead of BHU.
DU being in a metro city and that too in capital of India is of great advantage as it offers you great exposure and opportunities.
Proportion of students getting hostel is higher in BHU. DU hostels are more autonomous than those of BHU.
BHU and DU have similar academics. DU offers better corporate jobs and civil services. BHU provides a better campus experience, while choosing Delhi offers greater exposure and opportunities.
