Jawaharlal Nehru University is ranked higher than Banaras University in the 2022 rankings of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). According to NIRF, JNU is currently ranked the second-best university in India, just behind the Indian Institute of Science.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) offer BTech through its School of Engineering in a full-time mode covering two specialisations. The duration of the course is four-year. Broadly, the programme consists of eight semesters of the UG curriculum.
Banaras Hindu University offers a four-year full-time BTech programme at the undergraduate level. BTech in BHU admission is based on students' performance in BHU-UET. Candidates can also get admission through CUET scores.
Simply being on JNU campus can be rewarding. It has a different culture entirely which motivates the holistic development of personality. JNU has an excellent faculty base.
