Knowing the trend in the UPSC GS 3 paper is crucial for preparing for the UPSC IAS exam. This would highlight which topics are more important than others so that you can dedicate your time and efforts accordingly.
For preparing each topic, start with the NCERTs to build up your knowledge base and then move to standard textbooks for the topic. Read current affairs daily, and practice questions based on the current affairs to strengthen your answer writing skills.
Make short notes on the topic; it will help you revise the topics quickly. Practise and make diagrams relevant to each topic. This is especially important for Geography questions, where students can draw good diagrams.
