We relate with the protagonist of “Three Idiots”, Rancho, but in our real life we are more like the Rajus and Farhans. We all are largely God fearing studious and extremely career conscious with good amount of stress and confusion and little fun. The beauty being that there has been a fertile kurukshetra in between the ears and the fight is between passion and profession but “aal izz well” does not seem to work in these conflicting situations. Every initiative successfully completed initiates a desire for new ones and this goes on and on. Synthesizing happiness in our contemporary living is important to exit from mental fixed-ness and stereotype living.
Down the time-line there has been an accumulation of anger, obsessive behavior and arrogance in our effort to build a customized paradise. In the process, what we yearn at the end is a small window to jump out off the hellish life into a tailor made paradise. Is there any antidote or vitamin for the souls? The answer lies in the journey and the power of now. Most of the time the “mahayuddh” between the needs and the wants continues; it becomes a panic situation to choose in between “चाहत and जरूरत” and in such a situation needs get dominated by wants.
Can we let the Rancho within ourselves express the innovation, the passion, the confidence that the character portrays? The answer again would be in breaking our dogmatic pattern and beliefs that we are exposed to. The desire to come out of the shackles is itself a step ahead for independent identity. Bondage, be it for gold or iron, is bondage. The miserably comfortable zone we create is not a pursuit for bliss, but a terrible deviation from what we really are. We try rationalizing everything and turn on the mechanical mode of living. Our physical presence and its mental counterpart lose contact, and our existence comes under question.
‘Rancho’ is based on an integrated endeavor to consciously program our thought process towards the science of creative intelligence. This depends largely in our freedom of choice and freewill that is god gifted to every human being. Suggestions may pour from all the sides but the decision making is entirely in our own hand. This decision making culminates in to experience which finally finds its place in non conducive environment and panic situations where prompt action is a must. Life becomes an ongoing learning process and this inculcates the tendency to seek opportunity in chaos. The protagonist does not depend up on the paper qualification, but the degree of freedom that he has while happily experimenting with the ideas which gradually transform him in to a powerful dynamo of creative pursuit and a charismatic personality as Funshuk Wangdoo. Let our minds be free from fear and create conducive environment for animating our vivid ideas and thoughts, let them be born in the realm of reality. Remember what Einstein has said on this “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand”.
