How to get there?

The best way to get there is to first take a flight to Kolkata. The duration will depend on where are you flying from. Once you have reached Kolkata, then from there, you can choose multiple ways to get to Purba Medinipur. You can either choose to travel by bus or hire a car. Mandarmani Beach – If you are looking for a beach which is not as commercial as Digha, then Mandarmani is the best option. It is a lovely beach, slightly secluded and definitely less crowded than most beaches. They also have water sports activities here.

Amarabati Park – For a leisurely stroll, you can visit the Amarabati park. The entrance fee for the park is 5 rupees per head. The park is well-maintained with lots of trees and flower beds. There is also a lake where you can go paddle boating.
