Poem: She’s Another Goddess Reborn

Representational image.

What an amazing guide to beauty I got from Youtube today,

That yogurt, milk, and turmeric take all scars away.

I think from my inner beauty.

It is deep inside.

My brain works as fast as a calculator,

They say it in might.

Fairness creams on top of fairness creams I wear,

For all those eyes around me,

They say I need to bear.

Someone, please tell her that her hip is so round.

She should wear something better,

Maybe a fairy gown.

To you, I tell mister,

It’s her hip, and yes it’s round.

Watch your eyes, it’s her body,

It’s out of bound.

A face of beauty they say, I need to portray.

Do not forget that you called my brain a calculator yesterday.

In mathematics class, a calculator is a tool to share.

For all the work it does for you,

Why doesn’t it have any beauty creams to wear.

This is a small world where no two are absolutely alike.

A saying shall go around,

Which is, live and love life.

Life goes on, but not everybody does.

Beauty should not describe personality,

But, love should be the one.

It’s high time that we felt with our hearts,

Rather than judging others by their faces.

It’s human nature, I understand, it’s true,

But life is short to wait till our imperfect thoughts faded.

Just a hint of respect is all that she deserves.

Before any voice sounds at her,

Remember, that she’s another reborn goddess.
