Hurt little girl, hurt forever,
Stand in the corner,
Live your damn horror.
Wait for it to pass,
Like a bad dream;
Don’t you raise alarm,
Don’t you fucking scream.

Monster under the bed,
The poison in my blood,
Memories of a childhood,
Rushing like a flood.

You still turn me into that little girl
At odd hours of the night,
I writhe beneath your weight,
While you take away what’s mine.

You have no right and you know it,
To hurt me like you do,
And here I stand drenched in sweat,
From my thoughts and fears of you.

I bleed on this page,
While you live your pretty life;
You took what you had to take,
to my veins, I hold a knife.

But you see, you did not kill.
You see I did not die,
I smile like all is good,
I pretend I did not cry.
