Nature’s Warning: Coronavirus Has Made Even The Leaders To Stay At Home And Pray

Ever since the deadly coronavirus has entered our lives, our lives have turned upside down. Things we thought were our priorities are nowhere in the checklist. We always thought that gyms, malls, movies, parties, catching up with friends and so on are important matters. We were always busy with our work or busy building our social circle that under a course of time we started ignoring the people staying with us.

Humans are blessed with the tendency to think and act. We were created with a thought that we will make the Earth a better place to live in. Unfortunately, in all these years we have only exploited earth for our selfish benefits.

We have overutilised and misused all living beings, including plants and animals. Ironically, all creatures except humans are unafraid of this novel virus. This virus, which started as an epidemic in China, soon became a global pandemic. To fight this exotic virus, every country has started taking stringent actions. Some countries restricted flights from other countries, whereas some counties decided to opt for a lockdown.

Schools, colleges and offices have shut down. For children, it was a gala time as they don’t have to get up early to get ready for school. On the other hand, people going to offices have started working from home. It seems like everything is still, we are trapped in our houses. The fear of the virus is too much, but for some even more difficult challenge was staying at home and not going anywhere. At least, the good part of today’s time is that technology is a blessing. Staying in touch with people we love is not so difficult, all thanks to mobiles and laptops.

Yes, we have to pay a heavy price of disturbing and damaging the environment. But nature has not taken anything from us. Instead, it has given us time so that we can work upon ourselves, work on the things we always wanted to.

Maybe we all were so busy in fulfilling our dreams that we forgot that our lives do not revolve around these superficial things. This novel virus has made up realise that there are many things more important than offices and schools.

In the end, everything is temporary, and we should respect what we are given. Mistreating nature, animals and other beings may make you powerful, but what will humans achieve with that? In these times of crisis, many big leaders are unable to do anything except sitting at home and praying for the situation to reverse back to normal.

We are blessed with a sense to think and then react, let’s not waste it. We all should use it wisely rather than misusing it. Nature is very kind. It is just taking its time to heal itself and indicating us that we should respect and appreciate what we have.
