The simple reason for observing the special day May 15 is to know the importance of each family member and spend a day with them. Here, we come to grasp that family is the first unit of society. Its all-round betterment enhances progress in society. Undoubtedly, families have realised the value of togetherness at this critical time.

It’s been around 26 years since 1994 when it began, but the International Day of Families goes on. This year’s theme is “Families in Development: Copenhagen And Beijing+25.” Why? I think it chooses to think in big, general terms.

Encircled by the pandemic, the families have been facing the worst days. They are absolutely confined to their respective houses. It does not matter how many form the size of the family. Everyone has developed a knack of enjoying and caring for each other. They are talking to each member of the family. At least, family distancing has melted very much. They do not look in a hurry, and their connections with the elders have improved amply. Speculations and a lot of banalities in their conversations are no longer sustained. Everyone feels those issues every day. Not only are these things arcane, but they are perhaps not boring too many people too.

Finding the crucial situation quite suitable for bringing two conversant families closer through the marital relations, I endeavoured hard to unite two families closer through marital relations. It is always articulated that a substantial and assertive vision is a powerful thing. Though there were difficulties in bringing the boy’s family to accept the marriage proposal from the girl’s family, it was approved by the boy’s tough mother at last.
