Quick Byte: The Congress Must Change Its Organisation If It Is To See Any Success

Why isn’t the Congress making amends and initiating changes in its organisational hierarchy for the better if it has to electorally and politically match up to Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party? The Gandhis shouldn’t be afraid of pursuing their shortcomings  strengthening and securing their party’s objective of empowering the socially excluded and backward groups through resources and reforms.

Equipping and engaging with the local leadership may offer a clue in restoring the pride of the party, which is known for appreciating and acknowledging differences of opinions, values and ideas. Going by recent recaps, their are a lot of takeaways for the party if it has to at all benefit. Their shouldn’t be any repetition of a possible Punjab and Rajasthan with the likes of Pilot, Gehlot, Sidhu and Amarinder Singh scrambling for their space.

If left unchecked, this may wreck havoc for a party that is already in a catch with deserving politicians being asked to fend for themselves. Shouldn’t there be a stop to this practice of running the play from 10 Janpath be abruptly brought to an end?

Who knows if recruitee Prashant Kishor is spelling some miracle.
