What Should Chirag Paswan Do Next?

LJP President Chirag Paswan will have to begin afresh with his efforts to revive, resurrect and rescue the Lok Janshakti Party in the backdrop of uncle Pashupati Paras’ elevation as Food Processing Minister in Modi 2.0, a post earlier held by Late Ram Vilas Paswan.

Chirag Paswan.

Chirag will have to literally push himself hard for his relevance, rank and role as the popular youth icon of the party highly involved, associated and engaged with the constituency supporting and standing by the LJP, playing in his defence after he was shown the door at his face by none other than his uncle Pashupati Paras’ a trusted lieutenant of Ram Vilas during task and troubles.

Legally the courts couldn’t have done much after Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla declared Pashupati Paras as leader of LJPs parliamentary board. At best, Chirag can contend himself with the berth of party president using his offices to settle this stalemate for the better.

The BJP may try to dirty its hands by taking advantage of Chirag’s stance and situation, breaking a few heavyweights indulging in harakiri.

How Chirag readies his response will be everybody’s watch given his political awakening and acceptance of the rhetoric, which is plainly and distinguishably different from a reality that has been painted and pictured before him. Stop being naive and novice and go for the hunt against all those who have made you land in such a disgrace, from Lallan Singh to Surajbhan Singh, hampering LJP internally and externally, giving rise to a new tear, trade and tussle, which clearly has no victors and losers.

Alas, everybody seems to be searching for their scramble.
