What Determines A Person’s Success?

There is an amazing story of a balloon seller and a negro boy, which I read in a book called You Can Win by Shiv Kheda. It gives me immense motivation and confidence to take a very crucial step of my life to go and pursue higher education in a metro city.

So, the story is all about a balloon seller and a negro boy who was looking at him. What the balloon seller does is whenever he feels that sales are going down, he just releases one ballon in the sky, so kids from the nearby areas get attracted towards him and his sales jump.

After observing him for few hours, the negro boy asks the seller, “Uncle, will this black balloon fly in the sky?” The balloon seller says, “Yes dear, the balloon will fly in the sky, not because of its colour, but because of the thing filled in its inner core.”

It is the same for human beings. We succeeded because of our inner intangible things like character, confidence and feelings of others welfare.

It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are from or how you look. What matters is your inner characteristics, right spirits towards achieving your goals, confidence, perseverance, and most importantly, character.
