The Emotional Connections Fostered Through A Greeting Card Are Missing In Emails

Cards are the best medium to express feelings. They can define all our emotions like a breeze. Cards also connect us emotionally with people who are unique in our hearts. They are like the memories we can have with us until the cessation of our heartbeat.

Sometimes cards are our saviours. I have many cards with me given by my friends and siblings. Whenever I feel low or a little tense, I just open them, and they refresh my memory.

Cards are the best medium to express feelings.

I feel like I am back in those good old days. The customization, the handwritten notes, it all gives me new vigour. But yes, in this modern age of email and instant messaging, cards are losing the battle. We find it easy and convenient to send an ecard instead of a personalized tangible card.

I won’t deny that an ecard makes us feel good, but it fails to create an emotional connection that we feel when someone personally offers us a card. For instance, if we long for someone, a virtual hug can’t fulfil the urge to hug them in person.

In this modern age of email and instant messaging, cards are losing the battle.

Moreover, we tend to spend so much on random things that might not be as helpful for us, then why not on a card for our loved ones to make them feel special and loved.

By doing this, we can also help our card industry revive.
