Quick Byte: Here’s What I Think Stops Young India From Loving Freely

What Stops Young India From Loving Freely?

My first answer to this was ‘unemployment’. Though love has no boundaries, I feel that it is a lack of being financially independent and having no responsibility, that stops youth from loving freely and being loved.

Hailing from rural and moving to urban cities in India, I have seen many youth falling in love in their teens regardless of their background.  It is a world that can’t be described in words, or even conveyed through a Bollywood romantic movie, it is beyond that.

The reason I addressed unemployment, is that sometimes, before conveying our feelings to someone we have fallen in love with, we tend to look at ourselves first.  We ask ourselves, are we capable of taking care of another person, whether mentally, physically, most importantly, financially?

In this generation, where both, women and men have equal standards of life; one also considers another person’s capability of leading life.

I believe the youth needs to be financially independent to have a love life, secured for the long term. Some people need to take up responsibility for themselves and also their families, and only then they can think about falling in love.

Being employed in our highly populated country, in this generation, is a war in itself, where holding a degree is a weapon to win this war.
